What our limited warranty covers, what it does not, and the tests behind the numbers on our product pages.
What the warranty is
Every JEEHOO roof is covered by a written limited warranty: 50 years on the coated steel substrate against perforation, and 15 years against colour fade under normal exposure. It is issued by the manufacturer to the end user — not a reseller promise.
What is covered
Perforation or structural failure of the steel substrate caused by corrosion, and colour change on the exposed surface beyond the agreed tolerance. Claims are settled by replacement material; labour and freight are quoted case by case.
What is not covered
Damage from incorrect installation, foot traffic, hail beyond the tested impact class, chemical attack, standing water from blocked gutters, or alterations by a third party. Normal colour drift within tolerance is not a defect.
Conditions
The roof must be installed to our fixing guide, on a sound substrate, with the specified nails and accessories; proof of purchase must be kept. A claim needs site photos and the batch number printed on the pallet label.
The testing behind it
The figures on our product pages come from eight routine tests at the China National Building Material Test Centre: water, heat, cold, alkali, acid, salt spray, freeze–thaw, and 1,000 hours of artificial weathering. Test reports and the warranty document are issued with each order and available on request.
